Blazer Investigative
was founded by owner, Vicki D. Childs. A graduate of Valdosta State University
and Charleston Southern University, Vicki holds a Master of Science degree in Criminal Justice. She has worked as a
Probation Officer and as a Special Agent with the Naval Investigative Service. She is also a graduate of the Federal
Law Enforcement Training Center. While with NIS she received special training in Contract Fraud and Special
Anti-Terrorist Tactics. In 1987, Vicki opened this agency in Charleston, SC. Since 2005 she has served as Director of
the South Carolina Association of Legal Investigators. In 1996, she was named investigator of the year and recieved the
2009 Who's Who Award. She has also served as president of the South Carolina Association of Private Investigators.
Over the years, Vicki and her staff have investigated numerous cases involving death, product liability, disability,
